Biography

Ginny’s love of finance is rooted in a rich family history of financial services as the Allen’s have been setting industry standards since 1932. She received a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Alabama and has since worked in several capacities within the industry.

Ginny came to Allen & Company from a national banking firm in Atlanta where she served as a Financial Analyst. She joined our firm as a Mortgage Broker for Allen & Company Mortgage Corporation in 2002, before becoming a Financial Advisor with the Allen/Albritton Group.

Determined to make a profound and positive difference in her community, she has served on the VISTE Board of Directors, the Salvation Army Board of Directors, the Peace River Center Advisory Board, the Lakeland Chamber Small Business Awards Committee and Politics in the Park Committee and the Lakeland Association Board of Realtors.

A graduate of Leadership Lakeland, Ginny also devotes her time as the co-chair to the Lakeland Regional Health System Foundation Board and the LRH Women in Philanthropy Executive Committee. She also serves on the PIVOT Executive Committee for Florida Polytechnic University and is a sustainer with the Junior League of Greater Lakeland. Ginny and her family are active members of First Presbyterian Church in Lakeland. She and her husband are both third-generation Lakelanders who returned home after several years away.

Ginny holds Series 7, 66 and 24 Licenses as well as Life, Health and Variable Annuities. In addition, she has been a Certified Wealth Strategist since 2008.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is a public university in Birmingham in the U.S. state of Alabama. Developed from an academic extension center established in 1936, the institution became an autonomous institution in 1969 and is today one of three institutions in the University of Alabama System. Allen & Co. of Florida, Inc. was established in 1932 by J. Everett Allen and George O. Craig as Craig-Allen Co. and was located in the Marble Arcade in downtown Lakeland, Florida. In 1938, Everett Allen purchased George Craig's interest, renamed the firm Allen & Co. The firm focused on equities and Florida municipal bonds. Over time the firm expanded to eastern Polk County with the establishment of a sales office in Winter Haven. The firm offers investment-related services with a local, hometown philosophy and attitude toward superior customer service.
