Heir to both the Sorbonne and the Faculty of Law of the Pantheon, Paris 1 is one of the leading universities in the field of humanities and social sciences, as in the law and economics. Since its incorporation in 1971, Paris 1 has consistently expressed its commitment to a university model that combines open and pursuit of excellence, with responsibility to host the student audience the most numerous and diverse among French universities, but also to position such as one of the top research institutions in its field, as evidenced different indicators. Paris 1 was constantly present in the development of new industries. It was one of the first to adopt a mission in charge of overall relations with companies. The Paris-specific strategic directions are intended to strengthen the role of major player in Paris 1 in research and teaching in the humanities and social sciences. For this Paris 1, founding member of PresHésam, intends to structure and boost its research, enhance the attractiveness of its degrees and success of its students and its position as an international player. Paris 1 registered its commitment to the inclusion in the context of an overall device made towards "Joint Enterprise and Workforce Development." This device allows a decisive improvement of the monitoring of the insertion, to promote access of students and graduates to offering internships and jobs.

Brown University is located in historic Providence, Rhode Island and was founded in 1764. It is the seventh-oldest college in the United States. Brown is an independent, coeducational Ivy League institution comprising undergraduate and graduate programs, plus the Alpert Medical School, School of Public Health, School of Engineering, and the School of Professional Studies.
