Biography

Todd Campbell will be next president and chief executive officer of St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, the hospital announced Monday afternoon.

Campbell will take over effective Jan. 1 for current president and CEO Michael Sellards, who will retire after 18 years leading St. Mary's.

Campbell has served as senior vice president and chief operating officer at St. Mary's since 2007, and had previously worked as vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Marshall University, and a master of business administration from the University of Charleston's executive MBA program. He is also a certified public accountant.In his 11-year tenure in as senior vice president and COO, Campbell has helped develop the formalized Joint Replacement Center, establish the employed physician program, helped develop St. Mary's Ironton campus and the opening of the hospital's urgent care center.
