Minnesota State University (MSU) Mankato’s curriculum combines academic learning with real-world application, making for a highly unique learning experience. Located in Mankato, Minnesota, MSU offers bachelor’s and graduate programs in such fields as allied health and nursing, arts and humanities, education, engineering, business and social sciences. MSU employs a revolutionary approach to learning positively affects both its students and the world. Such learning is the foundation of an MSU education and gives students the chance to solve problems and think of new ideas that are related to their discipline and may be applied to the working world. Past students have used this integrative learning for such projects as designing “green” construction methods and finding ways of reducing our dependence on foreign oil. MSU is a residential campus and student life options include athletics, arts and entertainment events and activities, and the full range of student services such as career development and academic advising. Applications for admissions may be done online or through the mail. Financial aid is available primarily through grants, scholarships, work-study and federal loans to those who qualify.
