Hynes, Himmelreich, Glennon & Co. (HHG) manages portfolios that are diversified by asset class, investment style, and market-cap and portfolio manager. The firm seeks to maintain a level of risk consistent with each client's investment objectives and risk tolerance. Portfolios are diversified across asset classes including stocks, fixed-income securities and alternative investments. They are also allocated across multiple markets, using different investment styles and portfolio managers.HHG selects portfolio mangers with their own area of specialization. The firm retains independent consultants to work with its Investment Committee on the selection of portfolio managers. When screening managers, the firm looks for manager with at least 5 years of performance history and performance that is consistent with the managers peer group and benchmarks. They also consider the level of assets on which the performance record is based and the total portfolio fees and expenses. Managers that pass this initial screening are then subjected to further detailed review, on-site interviews and reference checks. HHG's Investment Committee continually reviews the investment philosophy, business management and investment performance of approved portfolio managers.

Federal Street Advisors'' investment approach is based on fundamental analysis and includes elements of modern portfolio theory. They determine a rate of return objective and an appropriate risk tolerance for each client. Then they develop an asset allocation, and funds or managers within each asset class, they believe will produce the desired return without exceeding the client’s risk tolerance over the long-term (15 years or more).Federal Street Advisors'' generally recommends that clients invest through separate account managers who manage investments in individual stocks or fixed-income securities; mutual funds including ETFs that invest primarily in such stocks or securities; and/or other pooled funds, including hedge funds and private equity funds. These managers and funds, in turn, invest in individual stocks, debt securities, or other investments. In some cases, the firm also recommend that a client invest in a hedge fund-of-funds sponsored and managed by an affiliate.
