Schwarzman, founder of asset management firm, Blackstone Group, is an international scholarship program announced on April 2013, designed to "educate the next generation of global leaders". The program is intended to launch in June 2016, upon completion of Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University. The college was designed by Robert A.M. Stern, Dean of the Yale School of Architecture and will host 200 elite scholars annually from the US, China and other countries around the world for a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
