Stafford Bagot

Stafford Bagot is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Singapore office where he leads the Industrial Practice in Asia and the Middle East as well as the firm’s global Engineering and Construction practices. Stafford first joined Heidrick & Struggles’ Sydney office as a member of the board and CEO Practice. After 6 years with the firm in Australia, he relocated to Singapore in 2012 where he has played a major role in growing the Industrial Practice across the APAC region.

Stafford has conducted a number of global searches helping CEOs attract and secure senior executives. Since joining the firm, he has had the privilege to work an array of clients, particularly those who are private equity backed as well as listed and large multinationals.

He has also worked closely with chairman and boards in the industrial sector around succession planning and the appointment of non-executive directors. Stafford is especially passionate about diversity and future boardroom talent and has worked with chairman specifically around succession planning and effective board composition.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Stafford worked in the executive search industry in Ireland and the United Kingdom for eight years. He started his career in the market research industry in Australia.

Education:

Stafford has a business studies degree from the University of Technology Sydney where he majored in marketing and management.
