The firm seeks to provide growth stage capital for businesses and invests across sectors with a focus on healthcare, business services, drug development, life sciences, biotechnology and technology sectors. They provide funding for acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, and recapitalizations with an investment size ranging from $20 million to $50 million.Pharos Capital prefers to invest in companies that offer multiple exit opportunities which may include a financial buyer, an IPO, a recapitalization or a sale to a strategic purchaser.

Based in Dallas and Nashville, Pharos Capital Group (“Pharos”) has $600 million in capital under management through three private equity funds. Our latest partnership is a $400 million fund focused on providing later stage equity funding for internal growth, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts or recapitalizations across industry sectors, with particular focus on healthcare, business services and technology. Pharos typically takes $10 to $30 million equity positions through staged investing in undercapitalized businesses in underserved regions across the nation. We typically are the lead investor in a round, or will co-lead a financing along with other institutional investors.
