It was founded in 1908 by Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the first premier of Alberta, and Henry Marshall Tory, its first president. Its enabling legislation is the Post-secondary Learning Act. The Ivey Business School is located on Western University's campus in London, Ontario, Canada. Its MBA, along with a range of other programs, is offered by Western University, but it is managed separately with its own dean and budget.
