Ronald A. Sarasin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the United States Capitol Historical Society, a non-profit, non-partisan, educational entity chartered by Congress to enhance and perpetuate the history and heritage of the Capitol, its institutions and the individuals who have served there.

Before becoming President of USCHS on January 1, 2000, Ron Sarasin served for a decade as President and CEO of the National Beer Wholesalers Association. He also was Director of Government Affairs at the National Restaurant Association.

Prior to becoming involved with associations, he served three terms as a member of Congress, representing the Fifth District of Connecticut from 1973 to 1979. In 1978, he ran unsuccessfully for Governor. From 1968 to 1972, he was a two term Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly and a practicing attorney.

Sarasin is a US Navy veteran and received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The University of Connecticut School of Law is one of the leading public law schools in the country. Founded in 1921, the Law School is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. B.S. in Business Administration

The University of Connecticut (UConn) is a public research university in Connecticut.
