Flash Forward Ventures (FFV) focuses primarily on early-stage investments in emerging technology companies. Although the firm focuses on technology companies, they may consider investments in other areas in which there is a clear opportunity for them to be a successful partner. FFV places particular emphasis on double bottom-line companies, that is, financially successful companies that provide services which improve society. The firm looks for companies with strong business fundamentals, superior management teams and innovative products. FFV targets private investment opportunities that are too small, do not meet the investment criteria for or are otherwise overlooked by larger institutional venture capital and private equity funds.
