Biography

Bhayana joins MICA with a diverse range of experience in art, design and community-based organizations. Before MICA, Priya worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA Community Organizer in Greenmount West, a neighborhood located in Baltimore's Station North Arts & Entertainment District. In this position she worked with residents and a variety of local stakeholders to fund and implement projects that improved neighborhood quality of life. Priya moved to Baltimore from Chicago, where she worked in marketing for the architecture and urban design firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and interned at the Hyde Park Art Center. Priya holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Economics and English.
