Biography

Mr.Philippe Guinot leads PATH’s Business, Finance and Operations division. This holistic division consolidates awards management, audit, strategic finance, accounting, IT, facilities, security, travel, business development, and partner management. In his role, Mr. Guinot is accountable for establishing and maintaining a strong alignment throughout revenue generation, donor management, finance, and operations in order to support PATH’s global strategy toward a more equitable organization and to advance our sustainability agenda.

Mr. Guinot also serves as Interim Chief of the Asia/Middle East/Europe region overseeing PATH’s programs for this area. Since joining PATH in 2013, Mr. Guinot has served as country director for Francophone Africa, as director of our Geneva office, and most recently as senior director of country programs, overseeing PATH’s regional and country business portfolio. During his tenure he has further solidified PATH’s presence in countries and among critical European bilateral, multilateral, and private-sector partnerships. Before joining PATH, Mr. Guinot worked for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN)as director of Innovation and Partnerships. He has also worked for Hoffmann –La Roche in strategic marketing and finance, and in roles related to HIV, oncology, hematology, and primary care.

Mr. Guinot has 27years of successful experience in both private and not-for-profit sectors. He brings to his role a deep expertise in country programming and a broad understanding of portfolio management, risk management, finance and operations and strategic business planning.

Mr. Guinot earned a master’s degree in business administration from INSEEC in Bordeaux.
