Biography

Patrick Dartlett has worked for over a decade in the capital markets. He was named Co-Head of Research in 2008 and assumed the Head of Research role in 2009. Previously, Patrick worked on the firm's Institutional Sales desk.

He started his career working for a Canadian bank-owned dealer in corporate and investment banking. He then worked for a global dealer in Toronto in equity research. His time in research was followed by several years in institutional sales in both Montreal and Toronto. He was responsible for long/short strategies and risk arbitrage on Canadian equities.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Administration from Dalhousie University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of both the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and the Montreal Society of Financial Analysts. Patrick also lectures in finance in the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
