As COO, responsible for all day-to-day campus operations including academics, student life, spiritual development, athletics, human resources, and strategic planning on two campuses.
1995 – 2005 Provost and Chief Academic Officer
Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, California.
As Chief Academic Officer - responsible for management, planning and development of all graduate, undergraduate,and continuing education programs on four campuses (4000 students), academic computing, learning resources, library, records, instructional technology, academic support, general education, study abroad, assessment, strategic planning, and faculty development & research.
1988 - 1995 Vice President for Academic Affairs and
Dean of the College, Professor of Management
Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana.
Chief Academic Officer for the University. Responsible for managing the academic program (graduate and undergraduate - over 2250 students in 60 programs with a full time faculty of 140), university library, registrar, international education, Center for Public Service, adult and continuing education, and the assessment program. Served as Secretary to the Board of Trustees, member of the executive staff and enrollment management cabinet. Also participated in institutional fund raising for faculty development and the School of Business.

Friends University, Wichita, Kansas.
First Dean of the College, responsible for the operation of the College (500 students) including budgeting, hiring and development of faculty, curriculum and program development (institution's 1st graduate program), public relations, and fund raising. Member, President's Cabinet - the senior administrative body. Carried 8 hr. teaching load.
1978 - 1983 Business Faculty and Federal Grant Coordinator
Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, Oklahoma.
Responsible for the coordination of all federal grants at the university. Won grants totaling over $4 M for the following programs: institutional planning, career planning and placement, curriculum media development, library administration, student retention, faculty development, general education review, administrative evaluation and development, basic skills remediation, and professional programs review. Also carried a faculty appointment in the School of Business.
1973 - 1978 Associate Dean of Students and Director of Housing
Mid-America Nazarene College, Olathe, Kansas.
Responsible for campus housing and student retention and engagement programs (residential campus - 1200 students). Involved recruitment, training, and supervision of professional and student staff. Also served as assistant basketball coach
