Nikki Tabron

Nikki Tabron Dedicated to public service, Nikki Tabron has over 20 years of experience working with and meeting the needs of a diverse range of young people and educators. Nikki leads a team responsible for the Island’s educational programs, serving over 6,000 young people and adults annually, with an emphasis on multi-year STEM and SEL learning sequences for middle school students in the Boston Public Schools. Prior to joining Thompson Island Outward Bound, Nikki worked for City Year at several sites and the national Head Quarters. While at City Year, she cultivated school, community, and corporate partnerships to deepen the organization’s impact and expand its services for at-risk schools and students in Boston and across the country. Nikki is a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She currently serves on the boards of Boston Green Academy, Orchard Gardens K-8 Charter School, and Strong Women, Strong Girls, and is a member of the United Way BoSTEM Advisory Council. She received a B.A. in Sociology and Government from Wofford College and an MSPA in Public Affairs from the UMASS Boston.
