Biography

Narda Newby serves as Deputy General Counsel. She counsels firm lawyers on a wide-range of issues related to Professional Conduct & Responsibility, Conflicts, Legal Ethics, Risk Management and Loss Prevention. Prior to joining Covington, Ms. Newby served as Assistant General Counsel to an international law firm. She also spent twelve years as a litigator at a Washington, DC, law firm, where she represented clients in all aspects of complex civil litigation in state and federal courts.
