Managing Director

Michael joined Portfolio Advisors in 2013 and is a member of the Asia Investment team. Previously, he was a Vice President at United Overseas Bank (UOB) in Singapore, in the Investment Management Division’s alternative investment fund-of-funds advisory business, where he worked with Portfolio Advisors in a joint venture for seven years. Michael joined UOB in July 2006 through the Management Associate Program.

Portfolio Advisors provides specializes in the management of private equity investments. They offer separate account investment advisory services on both a discretionary and non-discretionary basis. They are also a commingled fund of funds manager and a specialized fund manager for clients that wish to accomplish specific investment objectives. Portfolio Advisors' commingled funds offer investments in: (1) buyouts/corporate finance including large and mid-market funds (2) venture capital including seed early-stage, late stage and multi stage funds (3) special situations including distressed securities, mezzanine/structured equity and secondary funds and (4) real estate including opportunistic and value added funds. Portfolio Advisors serves as the general partner of single-limited partner co-investment funds. The funds are designed to allow the limited partner to actively participate in the co-investment opportunities that originate from its existing portfolio of private equity partnership investments. The firm also serves as the general partner of or co-manages several single client and commingled private equity investment vehicles designed to meet specific client objectives.
