Biography

Mike works with a wide range of healthcare clients and counsels them in connection with governance, tax, fraud and abuse, and regulatory compliance and compensation matters. In addition, he represents a variety of other charitable and nonprofit organizations. Mike also counsels both publicly-traded and closely-held companies on joint ventures, strategic alliances and other complex financing and operational transactions.

Mike is a member of the American Bar Association’s Health Law, Business Law, Tax and Natural Resources Sections. He is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association and Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, as well as former chair of the CBA’s Health Law Section. Mike is a frequent speaker on a variety of health law and corporate governance subjects and exempt organizations.
