Michael A. Mosberg
Michael, a partner of the firm, represents clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law. Actively involved in city, state and national bar associations, Michael is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (Member, By-Laws Committee), Chair of the Matrimonial Law Committee for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and a member of the Family Law Sections of both the American Bar Association (Chair, Trial Practice and Techniques Committee; Executive Member, Sponsorship and Fundraising Committee) and the New York State Bar Association (Member, Executive and Membership Committees).
Michael frequently lectures both within New York State and nationally on topics involving family law and trial practice. Organizations before whom he has spoken include the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (NY Chapter), the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Legal Education Institute. He is also the author of Depositions Gone Wrong: The Seven Deadly Sins (Fall 2009), The Secret To Success: Using Witness Consultants to Prepare Your Client (Fall 2009), and co-authored Handling Your First Contested Divorce Case: Trial Preparation with firm partner, David Aronson. He has also contributed to the Matthew Bender and Co. publication New York Civil Practice: Matrimonial Actions and authored a chapter entitled Prenuptial Agreements in New York: An Overview for the treatise Drafting Prenuptial Agreements (Skoloff, Singer & Brown, Aspen Law & Business).
Michael was recently selected as one of the Ten Leaders in Matrimonial and Divorce Law in New York City under the age of 45 and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Virginia M. Morgan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
He resides in Westchester County with his wife Karnit, also an attorney, and their two young children.
