Biography

Mena focuses on IP-related matters, with an emphasis on licensing, joint ventures, emerging technologies and settlements.

He also regularly advises on IP matters relating to corporate transactions, including M&As, securitizations, financings and IPOs in a wide range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, SaaS, equipment manufacturing, semiconductors, consumer goods, mobile devices, outsourcing and telecommunications.

In addition to working with multinational clients, Mena is also very active on the startup scene, working with emerging tech and web-focused companies on day-to-day IP-related matters.

Mena is consistently recognized as a leading lawyer on technology transactions and regularly works with the firm's patent and IP litigation practices to drive settlement negotiations on complex IP-driven disputes.

Mena is a frequent lecturer on intellectual property related issues and was the articles editor of the Cardozo Public Law, Policy, and Ethics Journal.
