Career History
President

The medical, educational, research and community initiatives of Beaumont Hospitals are supported, in part, through the fundraising efforts of the Beaumont Foundation. Philanthropic gifts and grant dollars help to offset the cost of Beaumont's continuing commitment to innovation and excellence. The Beaumont Foundation, established in 1986, exists to raise charitable dollars that help fund the construction of new facilities, the purchase of innovative equipment and technologies, and underwrite programs and services that directly benefit our patients and their families. The generosity of individual, corporate and private foundation donors enables Beaumont to continue providing the highest quality health care for our patients.

Lighthouse has a 41-year history of providing a continuum of services to families in crisis. It is the single largest nonprofit provider of emergency food and housing to low-income families in Oakland County. Lighthouse is a leader in its ability to offer successful programs that motivate, promote self-sufficiency, develop financial independence, and offer long-term results for clients. These programs encourage participation and build individual skills, leading to many success stories. Families that enter our doors are worried, sometimes embarrassed, and often desperate. Children tightly clench the hands of their mothers and worried parents whisper in the waiting room. Families turn to us seeking support for the most basic of needs: food, utility assistance, prescription assistance, and other essentials. And many of them are seeking help for the first time.
