Marc Stanley is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Marc concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation and has served as court-appointed class counsel and liaison counsel in numerous nationwide and statewide class actions, including securities and antitrust matters; suits against banks, accounting firms and law firms under FDCPA, TDCA and various consumer protection laws; suits against retailers under DTPA and similar trade practices acts; suits for product liability damages; and numerous suits against insurance companies for fraudulent conduct. Marc has also successfully represented businesses and individuals in high-stakes commercial litigation.

Marc believes that to whom much is given, much is expected. That belief has led to his years-long involvement in public service. Marc was recently appointed by President Barack Obama to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, and he currently serves as Chairman of the National Jewish Democratic Council, Co-Chair of the Foundation for Jewish Culture and Vice-Chair of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs. Mr. Stanley is a former Member of the Board of Visitors of the United States Air Force Air University (appointed by former Defense Secretary William Cohen) and is a former Chairman of the Texas Public Finance Authority (appointed by Governor Ann Richards and confirmed by the Texas Senate).

Marc is a past President of Texas Trial Lawyers Association and continues to serve on the association’s board of directors. He is also a former member of the board of directors of the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA). Mr. Stanley is a prominent speaker on class action issues, and was named to the 2010 list of “100 Most Influential Texans on All Sides of the Political Spectrum” by Campaigns & Elections Magazine. In addition, Marc has been named a Texas Super Lawyer© since 2003 (the first year the list was published).

Marc lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Wendy, and they are the very proud parents of three brilliant and talented children.

Admitted to the Texas bar, 1982; District of Columbia bar, 2012. Also admitted to practice before U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. Court of Appeals, Second, Fifth, Eighth and Ninth Circuits; U.S. District Court, Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and the Western District of Arkansas.
