Biography

Marc Arginteanu, M.D., is chief of neurosurgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and president of the New Jersey Neurosurgical Society. He also maintains a private practice, Metropolitan Neurosurgery, in New York City and Englewood, New Jersey. Dr. Arginteanu holds a position as clinical associate professor of neurosurgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is also an active member of multiple neurosurgical societies on both the local and national levels. Dr. Arginteanu is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including New York Magazine’s 2014 Best Neurosurgeons list and Castle Connolly’s 2014 Best Doctors list. He previously served as a board member at Temple Emanu-El. Dr. Arginteanu earned his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also a member of the medical honor society. He lives in Creskill with his wife, Ronit, and their three children.
