Biography

Lou Christopher is a Vice Chairman at CBRE with focus on occupier representation on a local, national and global basis. Lou is known as one of the most respected and accomplished real estate brokers in the Washington, DC area. He is the consummate professional with a proven track record and a strong commitment to providing his clients with the most effective real estate strategies and solutions.

Mr. Christopher’s extensive expertise in structuring portfolio strategies nationally and globally is evidenced by his completion of 1,100 lease transactions in over 60 international cities, representing more than 19 million square feet. Mr. Christopher is adept at coordinating the different competencies within CBRE’s robust service platform that are required to successfully service multi-market real estate portfolios.

Before joining CBRE, Lou worked at Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), where he was Chairman of the firm’s Tenant Advisory Group, C&W’s top producer in the greater Washington region every year since 2007, and he was one of C&W’s top 10 brokers globally in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
