The firm invests in publicly-traded and privately placed debt and equity securities in the following strategies: Long or Short Special Situation and Value Equities; Long or Short High-Yield Corporate Credit; Long or Short Distressed Corporate Credit; Long or Short ABS; Risk Arbitrage; Long or Short Physical and Exchange-Traded Commodities; and Long or Short Currencies or Government Debt. Third Point may also engage in various transactions in foreign securities; credit default swaps; futures and swaps; venture capital, private equity and direct real estate investments; and securities options strategies.

Eos Partners' private equity investment activities focus on companies that are undergoing ownership transitions, subsidiary divestitures, MBOs or recapitalizations. The firm makes both control and minority investments. Eos Partners invests opportunistically across a variety of sectors including: (1) business and outsourced services (2) alternative media and marketing services (3) healthcare services (4) transportation and logistics (5) infrastructure and environmental services (6) energy and alternative energy (7) financial services and (8) out-of-favor sectors. The firm typically invests in companies with annual revenues of $30 million to $500 million and EBITDA of $5 million to $50 million.When participating in MBOs, Eos Partners targets companies with valuations of $30 million to $500 million. The firm participates in recapitalizations and shareholder liquidity investments in which the owners of a company seek to realize cash proceeds from their business while retaining a substantial ongoing equity interest. These situations may include family-owned businesses that are seeking to affect a generational transfer, diversify personal net-worth or generate cash for current shareholders. Eos Partners also provides growth and/or acquisition capital to later-stage growth companies with proven business models and strong management teams. The firm looks for companies with a vision for rapid growth that need capital to execute their plans and grow to a scale in which they can pursue an IPO or other liquidity options. Eos Partners also works with management teams to consolidate fragmented industries by providing additional growth capital to fund both internal growth and/or acquisitions. The firm makes equity investments of up to $100 million.
