Career History
Co-Founder
2001 - Current

Caymus Capital Partners (CCP) focuses on investments in publicly-traded equity securities of companies in the energy industry, with particular emphasis on US companies engaged in the exploration and production of oil and gas and other natural resources. The firm's principals have developed a proprietary valuation model that identifies market inefficiencies in this field and guides our investment decisions. Their model is designed to determine the real-time value of oil and gas producing assets or companies. CCP believes that oil and gas exploration and production-related equities are valued primarily on reserve-based measures, and that their method of valuing securities has a higher correlation to share price for their target stocks than any other published methodology. All of the clients CCP advises have diversified portfolios of both long and short positions. CCP's funds invest primarily in stocks and, occasionally, options.
