The portfolio typically holds 80-140 equity positions, which are widely diversified across large- and mid-cap companies with strong growth and value characteristics.SSI’s Outright Discretionary Convertible Strategy seeks to produce excess returns above the BofA Merrill Lynch All Convertibles (VXA0) Index. It combines quantitative and fundamental analysis to select positions based on relative valuation and risk attributes. Portfolios normally hold 90-130 convertible bonds and/or preferreds.
