Kelly Tubman Hardy practices corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings of securities, corporate governance, securities compliance and general business law.

Ms. Hardy represents private and public companies and investors in financing and business transactions and serves as company counsel to private and public companies. She also advises public companies on disclosure and corporate governance issues, shareholder relations and compliance with the rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the major stock exchanges.

As the Global Desk Partner for the Baltimore office, Ms. Hardy has worked on numerous international financings and transactions and is responsible for the flow of work between DLA Piper's Baltimore office and its international offices.

Kelly Hardy was named among Maryland's Top 100 Women by The Daily Record in 2011. Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business recognizes Ms. Hardy, commenting that she "is a rising star in the field and ticks many boxes for clients, who describe her as 'meticulous, tenacious, and extremely hard-working.'" Ms. Hardy is also recognized as a 2011 Leading Advisor by Finance Monthly magazine in their Leading Advisor 100 list of leading transaction advisors across the globe.

In both 2007 and 2010, Baltimore SmartCEO magazine named Ms. Hardy to its Legal Elite. Lawyers recognized as the Legal Elite are selected by recommendations from the magazine's readers, more than 15,000 top-level business leaders and decision-makers in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area. In 2004, the Baltimore Business Journal cited her as one of the "40 Under 40" up-and-coming business leaders in the Baltimore region. She has been recognized as a Maryland Super Lawyer, as the result of a joint research project conducted by Baltimore and Law & Politics magazines.

Ms. Hardy is a visiting professor at several law schools in Mexico City.
