Biography

Julie Dressing serves as Blank Rome’s Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she leads the Firm’s human resources strategies, including those related to employee relations, human resources operations, payroll, and benefits, with a special focus on talent acquisition, leadership and professional development, employee engagement, and performance and compensation management for the Firm’s administrative professionals.

Julie has many years of experience as a Chief Human Resources Officer, having formerly served as the firm-wide head of human resources for two Am Law 100 law firms, where she provided strategic human resources advice and counsel. Prior to those roles, she worked for several years as a labor and employment attorney at major international law firms. She has also provided consulting services on a range of human resources issues to a wide variety of clients.

Julie received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Cornell University, and undergraduate degrees in General Management and Political Science from Purdue University. She is a member of the District of Columbia bar.

Julie is a member of Blank Rome’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
