Biography

John is the lead manager of the Asia Opportunities strategy and co-manager of the China Opportunities strategy. Before joining Oberweis Asset Management, Inc. in September 2007, John was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco. Prior to that, John was part of the International Small Cap investment team at Founders Asset Management and was also a Portfolio Manager of the CVO Greater China Fund at Offitbank. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and also holds a Certified Public Accountants (CPA) certificate. John earned an MBA from Stanford University and two BA degrees with high honors from Washington State University. John was born and attended schools in Singapore and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, Hainan, and English. John is a member of the CFA Institute.
