Biography

John joined Oberweis Asset Management, Inc. in June 2011 to lead the firm's financial advisor distribution and advisor service efforts. John earned a BS in Economics from Rockford College and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Chartered Financial Consultant (CFC) professional designations. John has over 20 years of financial services experience. Before joining Oberweis, John had extensive experience marketing both hedge funds and long-only equity portfolios. Prior to those roles, he was a co-founding partner of AdvisorPort, a third-party asset management platform that became part of PNC Financial Services, where he was Director of Investment Research and Due Diligence and later headed Financial Advisor Education.
