The mission of the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law is to achieve excellence in educating professionals, advancing legal scholarship, serving the public, and fostering justice. We aspire to prepare lawyers to serve their clients, the justice system, and the public with a high level of accomplishment and a commitment to the highest ideals of the legal profession. The University of Mississippi School of Law, also known as Ole Miss Law, is an ABA-accredited law school located on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. The School of Law opened in 1854 and is the fourth-oldest state-supported law school in the country. In 2009, National Jurist Magazine rated the University of Mississippi School of Law among the top five "best value law schools" in the United States. The law school is home to five auxiliary law programs: the National Center for Remote Sensing, Air, and Space Law, the National Center for Justice and the Rule of Law, the Mississippi Innocence Project, the Mississippi Law Research Institute, and the Mississippi Judicial College.

Mississippi’s primary university, The University of Mississippi in Oxford grants bachelor’s and graduate degrees in a range of professional and academic fields, and carries out some of the most important scientific research taking place in an academic institution. University of Mississippi’s campus activities make for a vibrant student life that even appeals to local residents. Mississippi has approximately a dozen divisions and schools, including: *School of Business Administration *School of Engineering *College of Liberal Arts *School of Law *School of Pharmacy Graduate students may also gain professional medical training at the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing or Medicine. Mississippi’s research activities include the environmental, wildlife and conservation research conducted through the Sea Grant program. Student media includes a widely circulated school newspaper and a college radio and television station. The public even benefits from some of the campus activities, such as performances held at Mississippi’s performing arts center and exhibits at the campus museum. Students who meet certain academic requirements are automatically admitted to University of Mississippi. Financial aid may be available and is awarded, in part, based on financial need.
