ARA’s investment criteria that they use for investing in or disposing of an individual real estate related asset, or making a loan on behalf of a client’s account, is governed by the specific investment strategy adopted for each client’s portfolio. Their loan underwriting or investment process begins with a market and sub-market analysis. This analysis is followed by a comprehensive review of the investment, underwriting of the terms of the investment, negotiation of the terms of the transaction, due diligence regarding the investment and if the decision is made to move forward with the investment, the closing process.
