Experience

Jeffrey Wexler is a general business litigator practicing in federal and state courts. In addition to his general experience in business disputes, Mr. Wexler has special expertise in a number of substantive areas of the law including intellectual property litigation (trademarks/trade dress, copyrights, and patents), false advertising, environmental litigation (CERCLA, RCRA, and common law claims), franchise law, unfair competition/Section 17200 claims, commercial disputes, and False Claims Act litigation. He has served as local counsel in a number of matters and has briefed and argued appeals in federal and state court.

* Representation of flooring manufacturer in defense of claims for antitrust violations, inequitable conduct, and false patent marking, through dismissal of all claims on motions to dismiss and for summary judgment and affirmance by Federal Circuit.
* Representation of inventor in lawsuit based upon unauthorized use of inventor's confidential information, through $6 million jury verdict in favor of inventor.
* Representation of satellite television distributor in defense of lawsuit alleging trademark infringement by programming aired by distributor.
