CVVC's mission of "Healing Trauma, Resolving Conflict and Ending Violence" is accomplished through three major program components: Crime Victim and Witness Assistance, the Dialogue and Resolution Center (DRC), and the Peace It Together Community Initiative (PITCI). Crime Victim and Witness Assistance services help individuals, families and communities heal from the trauma caused by all forms of violence and crime. The DRC provides critical conflict resolution, state recognized mediation and dialogue services. This component also houses CVVC’s training services as well as its Community Mediation Program and its Victim/Offender Dialogue program. PITCI educates the community on the root causes of violence and promotes corresponding wellness and restorative justice strategies through community-based education, outreach, and peace-building efforts as well as arts and media programming.
