EnCap Flatrock Midstream manages a series of private equity funds that invest in the midstream sector of the North American energy infrastructure space. The EnCap Energy Infrastructure Fund (EEIF) focuses mainly growth capital investments in North American midstream companies with proven management teams. EEIF is particularly interested in investment opportunities in the following areas: (1) natural gas gathering, treating, compression, processing and storage operations (2) oil gathering and transportation (3) natural gas liquid fractionation, storage and transportation (4) produced water handling and disposal and (5) CO2 gathering, transportation and sequestration. Equity investments generally range from $25 million to $75 million, but EEIF also considers participating in opportunities requiring larger equity commitments through co-investments with their investment partners.
