Zack Investment Management (ZIM) manages their investment strategies through the application of a hybrid research process, which uses both quantitative and qualitative criteria. The firm uses proprietary models to quantitatively assess the attractiveness of a large universe of stocks based primarily on an analysis of changing patterns of multiple fundamental factors. They utilize data from Zacks Investment Research as a tool inmanaging portfolios. ZIM provides wealth management services which use asset allocation models to consider a number of macro- and microeconomic indicators. Portfolios are constructed based on each client's individual investment goals, time horizon and risk tolerance. ZIM incorporates a strategic mix of asset classes rather than attempting to pick the single best performing asset class or individual security. The firm also incorporates a separate model designed to predict the future value of interest rates, credit spreads and inflation.
