The Bloedel Reserve is an internationally renowned public garden whose primary mission is to provide a tranquil and refreshing experience of nature. The Reserve’s 150 acres are a unique blend of natural, native woodlands and beautifully landscaped gardens, including a Japanese Garden, a Moss Garden, and Reflection Pool, and the Bloedel’s former estate home. The Reserve is also the home of abundant wildlife, including resident nesting bald eagles.

Washington State University (WSU) is a public research university based in Pullman, in the U.S. state of Washington, in the Palouse region of the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1890, WSU (colloquially referred to as Wazzu) is the state's original and largest land-grant university.
