Vantage Investment Advisors' investment approach focuses on asset allocation. The firm may make changes to the asset class weightings within a client's long-term asset allocation in response to changes in economic conditions, analyst forecasts or market trends. Changes to the asset allocation may also occur periodically to ensure that the portfolio complements each client's investment goals and individual circumstances. Through rebalancing, a buy low, sell high investment strategy is implemented to return clients to their target asset mix. The firm does not view rebalancing as an automatic process. Instead, they carefully review current economic conditions, the client's individual profile and potential tax consequences before making adjustments. The firm primarily allocates client investment assets among various individual equity (stocks), debt (bonds) and fixed income securities, mutual funds and/or ETFs, and independent investment managers on a discretionary and non-discretionary basis in accordance with the client’s designated investment objectives.
