Biography

Daniel Heist is director of internal audit at The Pennsylvania State University with more than 35 years of accounting, auditing, and management experience. Daniel served on the former East Central Division Board and was awarded the American Cancer Society St. George National Award in 2013. An American Cancer Society volunteer for more than 30 years, he has been a member of the American Cancer Society Board of Directors since 2009 and served as Chair in 2019. Daniel is currently a member of the Audit, Compensation, Finance, and Governance Committees, and is Chair of the Nominating Sub-Committee.
