Dr. Dana Pizzuti is a physician Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has over 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, working for companies such as Hoffmann-La Roche, Abbott Laboratories, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Johnson and Johnson, before joining Gilead as the VP, Regulatory Affairs in March 2007.

Pizzuti received a BS in Biology from Yale University (cum laude) and her MD from New York University in New York City. Her postgraduate training in Internal Medicine was completed at New York University/Bellevue Hospitals and subspecialty training in Infectious Diseases was completed at Montefiore Hospital-Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.
