Biography

As President, Chris Street is responsible for managing the overall growth of the All Stars Project. He chairs the Senior Leadership team and leads the advancement of strategy discussions, financial planning, and philanthropy partnership work. While continuing to provide leadership to national fundraising strategies, the Office of the President focuses on growing business development opportunities in Chicago and Dallas — two key growth markets — and in New York, which is the ASP’s largest market. Mr. Street is also responsible for advancing new ASP initiatives, including Social Development Partners, a training and advisory initiative using the ASP’s performance-based development approach. Additionally, he oversees the growth of ASP digital platforms and presence, including Connected Community and he is also responsible for data management and analytics.

During his 25-year tenure with the All Stars Project, Mr. Street has played a pivotal role in growing the ASP into a national organization, with operations in six cities. Under his leadership, the ASP has raised over $150 million from individual and institutional funders for Afterschool Development programs. Mr. Street helped spearhead a $20 million, five-year campaign that culminated in the opening of the ASP’s West 42ndStreet headquarters in New York City in 2003. Additionally, he successfully led the campaign to open the Scott Flamm Center for Afterschool Development in downtown Newark, where he served as director from 2013–2016.

As Senior Vice President, Chief Development Officer from 2017-2019, Mr. Street built a diverse national fundraising department and implemented a “gold standard” training program in philanthropic partnership building. In addition to his involvement in talent development and long-term succession planning, he led efforts to advance the use of technology and digital tools for internal monitoring, external program evaluation, and deeper engagement with alumni and corporate partners. Mr. Street also played a key role in expanding the All Stars Project to Chicago in 2007 and to Dallas in 2013, building the regional boards and partnering with local staff leadership to drive annual growth rates of over 20%.

Mr. Street began as an All Stars Project volunteer in 1992. He grew up in Connecticut and has a bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics.
