Biography

Camilla McGhee is Vice President and Chief Corporate Partnership Officer of The Executive Leadership Council.

Camilla currently serves as the strategic creative and collaborative lead for the organization’s Annual Recognition Awards Gala. With more than 2,300 guests in attendance, the Gala honors individuals and corporations for their support of diversity, inclusion and achievement in business. She is instrumental in ensuring that all ELC corporate responsibilities, programs and initiatives continue to meet the needs of its members, member corporations and the community at-large.In her previous roles at the organization, she served as the chief staff liaison to The ELC’s membership and had oversight over the development and implementation of all the organization’s programs. She was instrumental in building the interest and cache of several key programs including the National Business Case Competition, Award for Excellence in Business Commentary, Ann Fudge Scholarship, Alvaro L. Martins Scholarship and the organization’s CEO Leadership Summit.

Camilla received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Southern University at New Orleans, an MBA from Northwestern University and an MS from George Washington University. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMAA), National Association of Female Executives, CALIBR, The Krewe of Pyros Foundation Board of Directors and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (AKA), Incorporated. She also spends time serving as a mentor and “Big Sister” to young at-risk girls and an English tutor for Hispanic youth.
