Professional Expertise

As an assistant director, Brad Schmitt provides strategic real estate advice to corporate office users across a broad spectrum of industries including legal, health care, and financial services.

With a diverse background in law, real estate development, and business, Brad brings a unique perspective to the brokerage business. In his role as a strategic real estate advisor, Brad’s primary focus is on understanding and then internalizing his clients’ short- and long-term business goals in order to deliver tailored solutions that meet those needs. His unique approach is built upon a platform of utilizing cutting edge market technology and forecasting tools that enables his clients to better plan for the future. Brad provides a variety of real estate services including tenant representation, corporate relocations, sublease disposition, lease and financial analysis, and operating expense audits.

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Brad held positions at CBRE and Vestar Development.

Activities & Achievements

Brad is an active participant in various community organizations within Orange County. Among them, he is a board member of Hoag Hospital Foundation’s 552 Club, the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center, the Boy Scouts of America, and MiOcean.

The company was founded in 1954 by Julien J. Studley, and from its foundation represented only tenants. n 1963 the company began producing and publishing a survey of New York City's available office space, which took the place of the informal exchange of anecdotes that had hitherto served commercial real estate agents to understand the local market. Called The Studley Report, the monthly publication allowed, for the first time in New York, to understand the state of the market clearly, which allowed them to make better decisions about how much the commercial real estate they were seeking was actually worth. The company changed its name to Studley, Inc. in 2003.
