In 1788, as this new country headed west into the Northwest Territory, the quickly growing area along the banks of the Ohio River known as Cincinnati became incorporated, becoming a city. By 1870, the population of Cincinnati had grown to 200,000, as Cincinnati became known as the “Queen City.”On Wednesday, January 24, 1872, the concept was quickly approved by the lawyers and the Cincinnati Bar Association was established.
