Royce & Associates invests clients' assets primarily in the equity securities of U.S. and foreign companies at across all market-caps using a value approach. A significant portion of clients' assets are invested in the securities of micro-, small-, and mid-cap companies. Royce's value approach is based on their belief that the securities of certain micro-, small-, or mid-cap companies may sell at a discount from the firm's estimate of the companies' current worth. The firm seeks to identify and invest in these companies with the expectation that the value discount will narrow over time and thus provide capital appreciation for their clients. Investments may include purchases of securities offered in initial public offerings, secondary offerings, private placements, long and/or short positions in U.S. and non-U.S. publicly issued and non-public common stocks, ADRs, preferred stocks, stock warrants and rights, bonds of all types, including distressed and defaulted bonds, notes or other debentures, debt participations or bank debt, convertible securities, distressed securities, partnership interests, swaps, participation notes, derivative contracts and structured notes, and other securities or financial instruments. Perkins is primarily a long-only equities value investment advisor. The firm's value-oriented approach is based on the belief that investing in a diversified portfolio of high-quality, yet undervalued stocks can lead to outperformance of a benchmark over time. Perkins believes that by conducting rigorous downside analysis before determining upside potential, they can identify companies with favorable reward-to-risk trade-offs over a full market cycle. Their investment strategies include: small cap value, mid cap value, large cap value, global value, non-US value, all cap value and value plus income. Perkins uses the same methods of analysis on all strategies. They employ a thorough bottom-up method of fundamental analysis. Perkins seeks high-quality companies with strong balance sheets, low debt ratios, financial flexibility, solid recurring free cash flows and committed and tenured management with significant insider ownership. The portfolios that Perkins manages are designed for long-term investors seeking an equity portfolio, including common stocks.

River Road Asset Management employs a a highly disciplined, proprietary investment approach which they refer to as \"Absolute Value.\" The strategy incorporates the most proven and enduring principles of value equity investing, with a specific avoidance of the pitfalls associated with the common Deep Value and Relative Value investment styles. The objective of this approach is to generate attractive, sustainable, low volatility returns over the long-term, with emphasis on minimizing downside portfolio risk. The approach is based on four principal tenants: a focus on excellent companies trading at compelling prices; bottom-up portfolio construction; a focus on less efficient areas of the equity market; and risk aversion. River Road's strategies include: Small Cap Value and Small-Mid Cap Value; Dividend All-Cap Value and Dividend All-Cap Value II; Long-Short Equity; and Focused Absolute Value. For their Small-Cap Value and Small-Mid Cap Value Strategies, River Road primarily invests in small-cap or small- to mid-cap companies that are trading below the portfolio managers' assessment of their valuation as determined using their proprietary Absolute Value approach.
