Meisei Electric Co., Ltd. engages in the manufacture and sale of electronic and communications equipment, electric measuring, and information processing machineries. It operates through the Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Space Defense segments. The Meteorological Disaster Prevention segment manufactures and sells weather observation systems, various air traffic control systems, seismometers, and other earthquake disaster prevention equipment. The Space Defense segment produces space environment and global environment measurement device, ground technology equipment for space technology, and defense equipment. The company was founded on February 20, 1938 and is headquartered in Isesaki, Japan.
