Beginning in 1980, Mickey Chen planted the first seed that blossomed into Kingmaker Footwear Holdings Limited today. The company started as a two-tier production line near Taichung, Taiwan. Today, Kingmaker Footwear has grown magnificently into an international company that spans across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Cambodia. Global Locations At present, Kingmaker Holdings has five manufacturing plants, and offices in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Three manufacturing plants are in China at Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangxi; the other two plants are in Vietnam and Cambodia. The company originated in Taiwan where it still maintains an office staff with around fifty employees. The company is headquartered at the Zhuhai plant. Kingmaker Holdings employs about 12,000 people worldwide.
