Company Description

Junior Achievement of Northern New England is dedicated to preparing the youth of New England to lead self-sustaining, responsible lives by building the skills needed to succeed in the working world, manage their finances, and think creatively about the world around them. Our programs take a "learn-by-doing" approach to skill mastery, building students' self-confidence as they experience curriculum focused on JA's three pillars of knowledge – financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship. When students participate in JA curriculum from their kindergarten years to their high school years, working together to problem-solve in the context of the economy and the workforce, they build skills that create a platform of self-confidence for pursuing higher education and careers regardless of what is in store for the future job landscape. Over time, this proficiency ultimately flows out to the students' families, neighborhoods, communities, cities, and the nation, as our next generation grows up with the skills needed to successfully contribute to their communities and participate in the local and global economy.
